What to expect
Being new can be a bit intimidating. We want to make your visit as welcoming as possible. This section will answer some common questions you may have.
Note: Occasionally, we alter our schedule or meet off-site, especially during key summer times. See our calendar!
Enter the building through the carport doors. The worship space is located at the north end of the building, through the main hallway. Infant-preschool check-in is located just inside the building as you enter.
Go north on 104th Ave. from Canyon Road. Park in the school parking lot, outside of fenced area.
Bus: Bus 58 stops right on Canyon Road and 104th. Stop ID: 904. After getting off on bus, walk north on 104th one block. Max: Get off at Beaverton TC. Walk east on Canyon and turn left at 104th Ave. Or, catch bus 58, which drops you off on Canyon, just across from 104th.
There is bike parking near the entrance.
As you enter, feel free to grab a cup of coffee, chat with others, or find a place to sit or pray. Our space is casual and comfortable, yet reverent. We believe worship is not something done from the “stage” for an “audience” to watch. Worship is the offering we bring to God as a community. Therefore, we work hard to design worship gatherings that are participatory and accessible.
You are invited to participate as much as you feel comfortable. No one will make you feel awkward or unwelcome if you don’t. Our worship generally follows the four-fold pattern found throughout the rich history of Christian worship (Entrance, Scripture, Communion/Offering, Sending), while weaving ancient and modern elements throughout. Sometimes we incorporate a community meal. To learn more, read our document on worship.
Safe and engaging care and ministry for infants-preschool is available. Secure check-in with our staff is located in the lobby, just inside the main entrance. As you check in, you will be invited to enter your information into our digital check-in system. This helps ensure a secure environment for kids. Children in kindergarten – 5th grade are invited to begin in the main worship gathering with their parents/guardians. During the spring and fall, K-5 kids are invited to join our teachers for a lesson in the classroom during the sermon/teaching portion of our gatherings. After their lesson, the kids will return to join for communion. Learn more about our ministry to kids here.
